Shana L. Curti has been representing clients in family law matters since she began her legal career. A graduate of New York University and St. John's University School of Law, Ms. Curti has represented clients in all aspects of Family Law matters, including divorce (uncontested and contested), custody/visitation, child support and spousal support, and Orders of Protection. Ms. Curti is an able and experienced Mediator and collaborative attorney for those who wish to resolve their differences in an amicable manner outside of the courtroom setting. She strives to resolve the issues confronted by the Firm's clients through agreement where possible, and she is an assiduous advocate when negotiations are contentious. Should it be necessary, she is a strong litigator who has tried cases before the Supreme Court and Family Court achieving favorable decisions. She is also knowledgeable about fire department, police department, and union pension plans, as well as all other general practice areas offered by the Firm. Ms. Curti is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and she is a member of the Matrimonial Law and Family Court Law & Procedure Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Stephen M. Orsetti, Esq.

Stephen M. Orsetti has a diverse legal background, having started work in the legal field in 1998 and learned all facets of law from the most mundane tasks to the most complicated appellate work. After graduating from St. John’s University School of Law, Mr. Orsetti was immediately promoted to and excelled as Managing Attorney at a personal injury firm where he oversaw all attorneys’ work product and maintained orderly and efficient handling of cases. He then moved on to open his own law practice, the Law Offices of Stephen M. Orsetti, Esq., which he grew and expanded into a thriving general practice law firm for over 8 years before partnering with Ms. Curti to ensure a “one stop shop” for their mutual clients. Mr. Orsetti has extensive experience in all the various Courts of the Long Island and New York City metropolitan area, including their policies and procedure, having handled a multitude of different types of legal cases for satisfied clients. He is committed to ensuring each client is fully informed and understands the law and their options prior to the client rendering a decision on what they feel is in their best interests. Mr. Orsetti is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Connecticut and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Edward V. Sapone, Esq.

Edward V. Sapone is a founding partner of Sapone & Petrillo, LLP. For more than 20 years, Mr. Sapone has tried an extraordinary number of cases as lead trial counsel. Mr. Sapone has been retained by many firms to try their cases – plaintiffs, petitioners, defendants, and respondents alike - and he is a master negotiator. He has won millions of dollars in verdicts for plaintiffs and has prevented millions of dollars in verdicts for defendants, having represented many high-profile clients over his long career. Many of these cases have been printed in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business Week, Crain’s New York Business, the NACDL Champion, and numerous New York City and local newspapers.
Mr. Sapone was born, raised, and educated in New York City. He received a B.A. from Fordham University. He then attended law school at night while working as a full-time paralegal during the day. He earned a J.D. cum laude from New York Law School where he was an Editor of the International and Comparative Law Journal and a Member of Distinction of the Moot Court Association. He completed externships for a N.Y. Supreme Court Justice in 1997 and a Chief of the Criminal Division of the Bronx DA’s Office in 1998. Mr. Sapone was also a contributor to the Suppression Law section of the 1998 Bench Manual relied upon by New York State trial judges.
Mr. Sapone has headed the Manhattan offices of a boutique law firm with offices in Manhattan and Garden City, New York. He is a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy at Hofstra Law School and the Marino Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Manhattan, through which he has taught at New York Law School, Fordham Law School, and Rutgers Law School.
Mr. Sapone is routinely retained and admitted pro hac vice in various jurisdictions other than New York, including New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Florida, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Colorado. He is fluent in Spanish, and he has represented hundreds of people from Central and South America and the Caribbean. Mr. Sapone has also appeared as a legal analyst on Telemundo, Univision, and international Spanish radio.
Mr. Sapone has taught advanced trial techniques and federal practice to thousands of lawyers. He has mentored more than a dozen law and university students, and he teaches at the Manhattan federal courthouse annually. Mr. Sapone wrote the course curriculum for, and recruited 19 lawyers to teach, a 10-week, 15-hour federal practice Continuing Legal Education series. He has appeared as a legal analyst on CNN, Headline News, Court TV, MSNBC, Fox 5, and TRUTV.
Mr. Sapone has received Citations of Honor by the Queens Borough President (2009) and by a N.Y. State Assemblyman (2011), and he received a Proclamation of Honor by a N.Y. State Senator (2010 and 2014). Mr. Sapone has also been recognized by VerdictSearch's Top New York Verdicts of 2010 and by Super Lawyers every year from 2014 to present.

Ginamarie M. Palmieri practices in many different areas of the law, including personal injury and wrongful death claims, estate planning (Wills and Trusts), probate and administration of estates, real estate closings, general litigation, and other general practice matters. Ms. Palmieri graduated from Hofstra University in 2000 with a BBA in accounting and from St. John’s University School of Law in 2002. She is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Connecticut (conditionally retired) and in the both the Southern and Eastern Districts of the New York United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court.
